The Season of Advent

God's people had been waiting, hoping, and praying for this day to come. The whole world had seemed to fall into the deep darkness that sin induces. That is until one night, light burst forth in the darkness and a message of peace on earth was delivered by angels. Overwhelming joy came over all who heard this news. Could it be true?! Could this be the one promised?! The answer, a resounding YES! All of history had led to this moment and nothing would ever be the same. Love had come down in the form of God's only son Jesus the Christ. Immanuel, God with us is here!
